How much does Sheets cost?

Sheets is free during your trial, on the Business or Enterprise plan, or once your company keeps at least one paid app. There's nothing extra to pay for it. A member installs it from Apps.

Which formulas can I use?

Arithmetic with +, -, * and /, cell references, and SUM, AVERAGE, MIN and MAX on a range. Functions like IF or lookups aren't available yet.

How big can a sheet be?

Up to 1,000 rows and 52 columns, with up to 10,000 characters in a cell. Your company can have up to 50 sheets.

Can I import Excel files?

Sheets imports and exports CSV files, up to 5 MB per import. Save an Excel file as CSV first. XLSX files aren't supported yet.

What happens if two people edit the same sheet?

Both changes are kept. If a teammate saved while you were editing, Bosferi merges the two versions cell by cell. Open sheets refresh every 30 seconds, so it isn't live typing like a chat.

Does sorting change the data?

Yes. Sorting reorders the rows in the sheet for everyone. If you didn't mean to, undo puts them back. Filtering only changes what you see.

Who on my team can edit?

You choose per member in Settings, App access. A member can have edit access, or view only access to read everything without changing it.

Is there a mobile app?

Not for Sheets yet. It works in your phone's browser, but editing is easiest on a computer.

Formulas

Sort a column

Sort any column up or down in a click. Sorting reorders the rows for everyone, and undo puts them back.

Import a CSV file to start from your data, and export any sheet to CSV with a comma or semicolon.
