From receipt to record in five steps.

No setup, no spreadsheet. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you log an expense to the moment it's organized and on the books.

  1. 1

    Step 1

Add an expense, or scan a receipt

Enter an expense by hand, upload a receipt from your computer, pick one you've already saved to Bosferi, or scan a QR code to snap one from your phone. Or skip the computer and snap it from the Expenses tab in the Bosferi mobile app. Either way it lands in your Expenses list. Image receipts get read by AI automatically; PDF receipts attach fine too, they just need their details entered by hand.

Add an expense, or scan a receipt

Tip. Snap the receipt right after you pay, before it gets lost.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Confirm what the AI found

A scanned receipt comes back with the merchant, date, subtotal, tax, and total already filled in, plus a suggested category and a confidence score. Anything under 75% gets flagged so you know to double-check it. Adjust anything that's off, and accept.

    Confirm what the AI found

Tip. Fields under 75% are highlighted. Check those first.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Keep categories and vendors tidy

If the AI suggests a category you don't have yet, create it in one click straight from the review screen. Merge a category or vendor into another anytime. Every expense pointing at it follows, and nothing gets orphaned.

    Keep categories and vendors tidy

Tip. Merge duplicates as soon as you spot them to keep reports clean.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Let recurring bills track themselves

Set up a subscription or repeating bill once with its cadence. Bosferi tracks the next due date and generates the expense automatically when it's time, or you can generate it yourself right away. Get a reminder before a bill is due: choose how many days ahead, and your company's owners and admins are notified once per due date. Turn reminders off company-wide in Settings.

Tip. Set reminders a few days ahead so a bill never surprises you.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Search, clean up, and take it with you

Filter and sort your full expense history, update or delete several at once, and export to CSV whenever you need the numbers elsewhere. Want everything in one file, including categories, vendors, and receipts? Settings has a full data export too.

Tip. Filter a month, then export to CSV for your accountant.
